Balanced Fitness is a multilevel class, meaning it’s designed to challenge participants at all fitness levels. Whether you’re getting back into exercise or already in great shape, you’ll find ways to push yourself and grow stronger with every session.
Our approach is both adaptable and empowering: You’ll decide what weights to use and how far to push your movements. Everyone will be challenged to achieve their best, no matter where they’re starting from.

What to Expect
- Standing Cardio: Simple yet effective low-impact movements to boost your heart rate, improve circulation, and build stamina—while staying kind to your joints.
- Resistance Training: Strengthen key muscle groups with weights or body weight exercises that improve functionality and prevent injury.
- Mat Work: Stretch, stabilize, and strengthen with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements designed to leave you both energized and relaxed.
- Balance Training: Targeted exercises to improve stability, posture, and coordination, helping to increase stability and improve everyday movement.
- Multilevel Challenge: Exercises are designed to challenge and support all levels. Whether you’re aiming to regain lost strength or build upon your current fitness, this class meets you where you are and helps you exceed your goals.
- Adaptable Movements: Customize each exercise to suit your needs. Choose your weights, set your own pace, and challenge yourself in a way that’s right for you.
- Supportive Environment: With Christina Jackson, Nurse Practitioner and expert Fitness Expert, leading the class you’ll feel safe, motivated, and supported in a welcoming space.

Christina fell in love with dance, gymnastics, and yoga as an adolescent, and began teaching cardio dance fitness and sculpting classes 40 years ago. She holds teaching certifications in Pilates, Yoga, Balletone barre © , and Active Aging © and has been teaching Barre, Yoga, Pilates and Active Aging classes over the past 25 years. A holistic and integrative Nurse Practitioner, Christina emphasizes using the breath to energize movement and strives to offer classes that safely align, strengthen, stretch and heal the whole body... the body you bring to class that day!
